The first hole, an inviting, uphill double dogleg Par 5, sets the mood for the front side. The next eight holes plays through wooded enclaves on the site of a former golf course upgraded to AAA status. Number 10, with water left and right, foreshadows things to come on the back, where five of the \"seven bridges\" transport players from one landing area to the another. Risk versus reward is a strong factor on this course, which requires precise shot-making skills to negotiate the hazards and to reach the large, contoured greens in regulation.
